Betty is an 8 year old Shetland Welsh cross pony. She was purchased 7 years ago having it in mind that she would be trained for the owners young daughter. Having several people attempt to make her safe for children to ride, Betty has proven to be dangerous under saddle. In experienced hands she may make a great little cart horse.
Betty does have a little bit of history of founder. When she foundered in the past, once she was taken off of grass, her lameness went away. This little mare can be turned out after the first good frost of the season until about May, but she must be fed hay during the summer.
She is a very sweet pet, loves to be brushed and fussed over. Gets along well with other horses. Great home only! For more information, please contact Rorie at firstname.lastname@example.org
